Eight Bar and Restaurant are truly delighted to offer our customers a simple cost effective way to eat @8. We have completely revised our menu pricing to reflect the turbulent times we live in.
We have always provided an excellent package with great food, vibrant environment and good value. Now, it gets better.
We have worked on our prices without compromising our standards, our ingredients or our suppliers. Be assured it is about value to you our customers.
We are a multi award winning restaurant who will prove, that with our inventive approach we can provide quality food at a price that works within your budget.
As we were one of the first Galway Restaurants to offer tapas, use locally sourced ingredients, and promote the use of wild and organic produce... we are sticking to our principles and only changing prices!!!

There are no catches, no shared starters, no gimmicks, no specials, no early birds, no set menus. Only one menu at great new recession beating prices.
Honestly you have to come see for yourself!!
Now you can eat from our menu, all evening from 6 pm Tuesday to Sunday. Our LIGHT BITE starters are at €4or 5€, our BIGGER BITES mains fron 13.50€ or less, excluding the 11 oz 28 day aged sirloin from Brady's in Athenry which is reduced to €22.50 and with our AFTER EIGHT desserts at approximately a fiver it means a full 3 courses can be had for less than €25. Each course can be taken individually if you wish.
If it’s only a snack or tapas you want, you can have one of our light bites at €4 and a pint or glass of wine for no more that €4, which is a total of €8 for tapas and a drink.
On top of this we have our wine prices at realistic levels with a bottle of our house red or white for €18, a 50cl carafe for €10 or a 75cl carafe for €15 or €4 per glass.
Our chef has used his magic to give you great taste and great value @ 8.
